What is an OTG adapter?

You may already know that USB connectors can come in a number of different sizes, depending on your device. A USB on the go (OTG) adapter helps you connect standard USB devices to your mobile phone.

You can use one to connect a 30 DTR logger or other cold chain equipment to your smartphone or tablet to easily add temperature data to a Varo report.

OTG adapters are inexpensive and widely available. They come with a USB-A port on one end and other USB types on the other end.

Varo also makes an OTG adapter that ships free with certain cold chain equipment loggers. It includes USB-C and micro-USB options so you can connect to any Android device no matter what OTG adapter you use. Connecting a logger to your phone helps you get the most out of your reports.
